As the Product Marketing Manager, you will help us define how we position the Digital Onboarding engagement platform and communicate our value to customers and the broader marketplace. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work in lockstep with the Product team to drive our go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, and customer adoption by aligning our product’s capabilities with market needs of US banks and credit unions to generate demand and revenue. 

This role is responsible for defining our Ideal Customer Profile and key buyer personas, defining core marketing and sales messages, planning and executing all product launches, authoring informative and effective product marketing content, disseminating the results of competitive and customer research to internal stakeholders, developing sales collateral, keeping public-facing product content up-to-date, and serving as an influential thought leader.

This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, deep customer empathy, a knack for simplifying complex concepts, and a talent for compelling storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging: Partner with key stakeholders to define our Ideal Customer Profile and buyer personas. Develop clear, compelling messaging that differentiates our product in the market for use across the business. Craft value propositions tailored to different customer segments.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams. Define target audiences, use cases, and competitive positioning. Stay ahead of market trends, competitive products, and technological innovations.
  • Sales Enablement: Work with the sales enablement team to create sales collateral (decks, battle cards, one-pagers) to help sales teams communicate the value of our product. Conduct training sessions to equip sales with product knowledge.
  • Customer & Market Research: Gather customer insights through interviews, surveys, and analytics. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to help refine strategy. AIm to deeply understand financial institutions’ challenges, needs, and desires and leverage insights to inform customer personas, marketing themes, and storytelling.
  • Demand Gen & Copywriting Support: Leverage campaign insights from Client Services to help author case studies, write best-practice guides and other marketing assets. Work with demand gen teams to align messaging across campaigns while helping to optimize website content, email marketing, and paid media strategies.
  • Product Adoption, Retention, and PLG: Collaborate with the Client Services and Product teams to distill and share platform usage trends to inform our product roadmap and storytelling. Support feature adoption through content like webinars, guides, and case studies. Partner with Product to improve PLG (product-lead growth) strategies. Align with customer success to ensure retention and expansion strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Experience developing and executing GTM product launches 
  • Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis
  • Proven track record developing positioning, messaging, and executing go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption
  • 2+ years of recent experience working with marketing automation platforms (preferred)
  • Experience marketing to banks, credit unions, or financial institutions (preferred)
  • Proven ability to simplify concepts and author informative and compelling content that resonates with key audiences
