UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team at a growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our platform by creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design user-centered solutions that align with business goals while providing an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Analyze and interpret data from user feedback, analytics, and research to inform design decisions.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to ensure design solutions are aligned with real user needs.
• UI/UX Design:
  • Design user interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing, consistent with brand guidelines, and optimized for a seamless experience.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design concepts and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across the product.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business and user goals.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to internal teams and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team during development to ensure design fidelity and resolve any issues that arise during implementation.
• User Testing & Iteration:
  • Conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on feedback.
  • Continuously improve the product’s user experience by refining designs and incorporating insights from ongoing user testing and feedback.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the product remains modern and competitive.
• Cross-Platform Design:
  • Design responsive and accessible interfaces for web and mobile platforms, ensuring a consistent experience across devices.
  • Create and implement accessibility features to ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work for web and mobile applications, with a focus on user-centered design.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Knowledge of design systems, responsive design principles, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and translating research into actionable insights.
• Strong  HTML and CSSdevelopment skills
• Familiarity with JavaScript required
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
• Strong visual design skills with a focus on user experience
• Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality and usability
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience working in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
• Knowledge of interaction design principles and motion design.
